Is your child incorrigible, disrespectful, untrustworthy, mouthy, disobedient, lazy, or just doesn’t seem to care about anyone including themselves at times? If you answered “YES” to any one of those, we may be able to provide the help you have been looking for; please read on.
“Not only is my relationship with my parents a lot better, but also, I see everything in a whole new way…”
For over 21 years, Midcourse Correction has run a weekend outdoor challenge camp for at risk youth. Our primary objective is to help incorrigible youth develop self-confidence and a higher concern for the effect their choices have on others. The goal is to be a preventative wake up call for youth that are on a self-destructive path.
Sometimes in working with at risk youth, a point can be reached where it feels like we’re just spinning our wheels and not gaining much ground. Parents, probation officers, teachers, pastors, counselors, and principles often find that they have a new window of opportunity to gain some real traction with an
off-course youth once they’ve completed a Midcourse challenge camp. Passing graduates also have the opportunity for a longer term mentoring connection if they choose to return to honor company.
Please take a moment to read through the Frequently Asked Questions page. It details the weekend experience and answers many questions. Also, check out the Information page to view printable forms needed to participate in camp.
